2006/42/EC Machinery Directive

Machinery refers to a combination of parts or sub-assemblies that are connected and combined for a specific purpose, especially for processing, handling, moving, or packaging materials, and have at least one moving part and appropriate operating devices, control devices, and power circuits, or to machines and safety components that are arranged and controlled to function as a single unit to achieve the same purpose.

- Woodworking cutters, woodworking processing machines, round saws, band saws, chain saws

- Manual woodworking machine, manual vertical spindle forming machine for woodworking

- Wood or hand-working combination machines, presses, drive shafts, injection molding machines, rubber injection molding machines

- Machinery for underground work (machinery for railways, hydraulic power roof supports, internal combustion engines for underground work)

- Household waste collection truck, fireworks manufacturing equipment

- Work lifts, passenger lifts

- Electrical detection devices, logic equipment

- Protective devices for rotating mechanisms, protective devices for falling objects

- Screen for press protection
